As Los Angeles prepares for a surge of international attention during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Loyola Marymount University is positioning itself as a nexus for global discourse. From July 12 to 18, the university’s College of Business Administration will host a series of conferences to address cross-sector innovation.
The programming features three distinct tracks: the 31st annual International Association of Jesuit Business Schools World Forum, the "Tri-Sector Innovation" summit, and the North America chapter of the Principles for Responsible Management Education. Key sessions will include insights from Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson and representatives from major regional organizations like the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Beyond the academic agenda, attendees will rotate between the university's Westchester campus and various cultural landmarks, including Sony Pictures Studios and downtown Los Angeles. According to Dean Dayle Smith, the initiative seeks to foster partnerships that transcend traditional borders, providing a platform for collaborative leadership during a period of significant global instability.
