
JA Tests P-HJT Solar Modules in Low-Earth Orbit
A Kuaizhou-11 rocket carried JA’s proprietary P-type heterojunction solar modules into orbit on September 17, marking the company’s first attempt to test terrestrial photovoltaic technology in the harsh environment of space. Launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, the mission seeks to validate crystalline silicon performance outside Earth’s atmosphere.
