The collaboration introduces a centralized platform where students can link course registration directly to required materials. By offering a variety of formats—including new, used, rental, and digital options—the college intends to increase affordability and simplify the start-of-term experience. Flexible fulfillment remains a priority, with students choosing between home delivery or on-campus pickup at the local bookstore.
Wayne State College Overhauls Retail Operations with eCampus.com
Wayne State College will transition its campus retail and course material operations to eCampus.com starting July 6, 2026. The new partnership aims to unify physical store services with digital textbook access, leveraging single sign-on technology to streamline the procurement process for students, faculty, and staff across the Nebraska institution.

Faculty members gain access to a unified system that tracks adoption trends and provides granular data on student preparedness. Beyond academic resources, eCampus.com will assume management of the Wayne State Campus Store, expanding the inventory of branded merchandise and daily essentials. C.D. Douglas, vice president for student affairs, noted that the move is designed to better accommodate the college's significant commuter population. Matt Montgomery, CEO of eCampus.com, emphasized that the integration aligns academic support with the broader campus retail experience to reduce friction in the student lifecycle.
