Wang joins the organization with over 15 years of experience in biomedical research and drug development. His background includes leadership roles as Head of Biologics and in vitro APAC at Crown Bioscience and Head of the Antibody Group at WuXi AppTec. Earlier in his career, he served as a Senior Scientist at Roche and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Delaware.
Nona Biosciences Names Dr. Peng Wang as Chief Operating Officer
Nona Biosciences has appointed Dr. Peng Wang as Chief Operating Officer to spearhead the expansion of its biotherapeutic research platforms. Based in Suzhou, Wang will report to CEO Dr. Di Hong, taking responsibility for the company’s integrated research services and the lean management of its growing portfolio of partner programs.
Dr. Di Hong noted that Wang’s expertise in antibody discovery and research operations is critical for the company’s long-term platform strategy. At Nona, Wang will focus on upgrading standardized research systems and refining project management efficiency. The company currently utilizes its proprietary Harbour Mice technology and the I to I framework to support drug development from initial target validation through to IND filings.
