Action sports athletes representing Monster Energy dominated the opening day of X Games Chiba 2026 at the Makuhari Messe event center, securing a total of six medals across five distinct disciplines. The Saturday performance highlights a strong start for the team in the second competition of the MoonPay X Games League.

The Women's BMX Park final saw 16-year-old Miharu Ozawa from Gifu, Japan, defend her gold medal with a 93.33-point performance, marking her second consecutive victory following last week’s win in Sacramento. Kim Lea Mueller of Germany joined her on the podium, claiming bronze with an 88.33-point run. In the men’s categories, Jordan Godwin of Wales earned silver in BMX Street, while Filipe Mota of Brazil took silver in the Skateboard Street Best Trick event.

The day’s momentum continued with Moto Shibata of Japan, who secured bronze in the Men's Skateboard Vert final with a 91.33-point run, marking a successful return to competition following a year-long recovery from an ankle fracture. Closing out the day’s motorized action, Australia's Ben Richards claimed bronze in the Moto X Best Trick event after landing a backflip body varial to double grab Hart attack, scoring 93.33 points.
