Folded Hills Winery Launches Aid for Glioblastoma Patients

After Andy Busch was diagnosed with inoperable glioblastoma in 2023, he and his wife Kim turned their personal battle into a mission. The couple has launched Grapes for Glioblastoma, a nonprofit providing direct financial assistance to help families cover the grueling, often hidden costs of brain cancer treatment.

Funding for the nonprofit stems from the couple's Santa Barbara estate, Folded Hills Winery. Starting May 1, 2026, a portion of proceeds from every bottle sold is funneled directly into patient grants. The organization has already begun distributing funds, drawing praise from recipients who noted the lack of bureaucratic hurdles and the immediate sense of stability the support provides. To mark the official rollout, the winery held a dedicated fundraising event on May 29, dedicating all proceeds from the day to the new cause.
