The integration allows print providers to move away from manual adjustments during job transitions. By linking the press directly to the finishing workflow, the system triggers automatic changeovers, which eliminates the need to halt the printing process. This synchronization aims to reduce white paper waste and maintain consistent output quality across varied media, ranging from lightweight transactional documents to heavy stock direct mail.
Tecnau Revolution 50 Gains HP Certification for A2200 Integration
Tecnau has officially certified its Revolution 50 AutoSetup system for inline operation with the HP PageWide Web Press A2200. Completed in June 2026 at HP’s Barcelona Graphics Experience Center, the validation confirms the finishing module meets strict internal specifications to function as a synchronized component of HP’s high-speed inkjet production line.

Stefano De Marco of Tecnau noted that removing manual touchpoints helps lower costs and accelerates turnaround times for high-speed inkjet environments. Barbara McManus, Vice President and General Manager of PageWide Industrial at HP, emphasized that such automated workflows are critical for customers looking to reduce technical complexity and maximize overall equipment uptime.
