The Package Visa, currently rolling out through select international service providers, marks the latest effort by Riyadh to reduce friction for inbound tourists. This system builds upon previous accessibility measures, including the e-Visa and the Stopover Transit Visa, which helped drive over 29 million arrivals in 2025.
Saudi Arabia Launches Package Visa to Simplify Tourist Travel
Travelers planning trips to Saudi Arabia can now bypass separate visa applications, as the kingdom introduces a new digital initiative that bundles entry permits directly into curated travel bookings. This seamless integration aims to consolidate flights, accommodation, and documentation into a single transaction for international visitors.

Ahmed Al Khateeb, the Minister of Tourism, stated that the initiative aims to create a more connected visitor journey. By requiring travelers to book through authorized providers—who must maintain 24/7 customer support—the ministry intends to ensure reliability while encouraging longer, more activity-rich stays. The program allows users to add local events and experiences directly into their initial booking, moving away from fragmented trip planning toward a unified digital process.
