The weekend success serves as a high-speed proving ground for the Compact Modular Architecture platform, which underpins the team's race cars. Geely engineers are leveraging thermal management data from these extreme track conditions to refine mass-production vehicles. This technical feedback loop is central to the company's efforts to translate motorsport reliability into consumer-facing automotive engineering.
Geely Secures Triple Podium at Paul Ricard Amid European Expansion
Under the blistering summer sun at Circuit Paul Ricard, Geely Cyan Racing captured three podium finishes during the third round of the 2026 Kumho FIA TCR World Tour. Santiago Urrutia maintained his grip on the drivers' championship lead, while teammates Yann Ehrlacher and Ma Qinghua proved the durability of the Geely Preface TCR.

Beyond the circuit, Geely has rapidly scaled its commercial presence across the continent. In a 45-day sprint during the first half of 2026, the automaker entered seven key markets, including Germany, Spain, and France. With the Geely E5 and STARRAY EM-i now available in over 20 countries, the company is fortifying its supply chain, anchored by a new spare parts distribution center in Amsterdam. These moves accompany a record-breaking financial performance, with overseas sales reaching 474,228 units—a 158% increase compared to the previous year.
