James Hou Named Group President of Catalyst Acoustics Group
James Hou has been appointed Group President of Catalyst Acoustics Group, the parent company overseeing a portfolio of noise control and acoustic brands. Hou, a veteran with 28 years of industrial leadership, will manage the firm's strategic growth, operational performance, and customer experience initiatives across its diverse business units.
CEO C.M. Merrimon emphasized that Hou’s experience in driving performance and developing talent is critical for the company’s next phase of expansion. Hou holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and an undergraduate degree from National Cheng Kung University. His mandate focuses on both organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the collective.
