Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel Canada, framed the move as a new chapter for the brand, emphasizing a commitment to community engagement alongside the rollout of their betting products. Residents aged 18 and older are already eligible to register accounts via the company’s website ahead of the official launch date.
Beyond the platform itself, FanDuel is anchoring its arrival with financial support for regional initiatives. The company is donating $50,000 to the A Dollar A Day Foundation for mental health programming and $30,000 to the Canadian Red Cross for emergency management efforts. These contributions build on a multi-year history of support, including a record-breaking $260,000 raised for the Calgary Stampede Foundation during this year’s Cowboys Stampede Showdown.
