Brookdale Senior Living Reports Steady Occupancy Growth in June
Brookdale Senior Living saw its weighted average occupancy climb to 82.5% in June 2026, marking a 200-basis-point increase compared to the same period last year. The Tennessee-based operator continues to build momentum, fueled by a record number of net move-ins for the year recorded during the month.

Brookdale currently manages 541 communities across 41 states, providing housing and care for approximately 46,000 residents. The firm’s ability to drive occupancy—particularly through its highest volume of net move-ins for 2026 recorded in June—underscores a sustained demand for its independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. Shares of the company continue to trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker BKD.
