BRP Secures Four Red Dot Design Awards for Powersports Innovation

The Sea-Doo Switch Fish claimed the top prize for its modular architecture, which allows users to configure nearly 100 components to shift between a dedicated fishing vessel and a recreational pontoon. The Red Dot jury lauded the boat for its seamless integration of form and utility, noting that the design remains convincing across diverse usage scenarios.

Beyond the marine category, BRP’s off-road lineup received significant recognition. The Can-Am Outlander MAX 6x6 was cited for its rugged, utilitarian aesthetic and flexible cargo management system. Simultaneously, the Can-Am Outlander Electric earned praise for blending zero-emission technology with a modern, ergonomic profile, featuring an integrated 5-inch display and distinct LED signatures. Rounding out the company’s success, the Can-Am Defender HD11 was recognized for its cabin ergonomics and exterior character.

Denys Lapointe, Chief Design Officer at BRP, formally transitioned the Design Team of the Year trophy to the 2026 winners during the ceremony in Germany. He noted that these latest accolades reflect the company's long-standing design vision and the strength of its creative staff. The awards follow a record-breaking fiscal year for the firm, which reported CA$8.4 billion in annual sales.
