The partnership combines TAPP Engine’s white-label infrastructure with Envestnet’s established asset allocation strategies. By embedding these capabilities, smaller financial institutions can compete with larger firms by delivering sophisticated, automated investment options that align with individual member risk profiles and long-term financial objectives. Mark Guglielmo, President of TAPP Engine Securities and TAPP Engine Advisors, noted that the collaboration focuses on deepening member relationships by keeping financial journeys connected to the institutions they already trust.
TAPP Engine Integrates Envestnet Portfolios for Community Banks
Quincy-based TAPP Engine is integrating Envestnet’s ActivePassive ETF model portfolios into its digital wealth platform. This move aims to provide credit unions and community banks with institutional-grade investment tools, allowing them to offer highly personalized, goals-based investing directly within their existing, secure digital banking ecosystems.
For Envestnet, the deal serves as a vehicle to broaden the reach of its investment discipline. Erik Preus, Group Head of Investment Management at Envestnet, emphasized that the integration provides community-focused lenders access to institutional-quality research and portfolio construction. The platform expansion builds on TAPP Engine’s existing suite, which already includes fractional share trading, commission-free equity options, and automated onboarding. This strategic shift reflects a broader industry push to modernize digital wealth services, ensuring that retail investors at local banks have access to the same level of investment personalization typically reserved for larger wealth management clients.
