Michael Mahan Tapped to Lead Modine Commercial HVAC Division
Michael Mahan has joined Modine as the president of its newly formed Commercial HVAC segment, tasked with steering the company’s heating, ventilation, and cooling initiatives across industrial and aerospace markets. His appointment follows a strategic shift at the Racine-based thermal management firm to consolidate its technology-focused business units.

The CHVAC segment represents a core pillar of Modine’s strategy to address mission-critical thermal management challenges. With a workforce exceeding 13,000 employees globally, the company is currently pivoting its portfolio toward energy-efficient systems and low-emission refrigerants. Mahan, who holds a mechanical engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Connecticut, will now oversee the development and integration of these solutions as the company looks to scale its commercial and industrial footprint.
