Jones Walker Expands Texas Corporate Practice with Walker Eisenbraun Team

The addition brings partners Raymond Walker, Mark Eisenbraun, and David Valenti, along with special counsel Jill Brumberger, into the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. The incoming team arrives with a combined 15 years of experience from their former boutique firm, Walker Eisenbraun, LLC. Raymond Walker, Mark Eisenbraun, and David Valenti will operate out of the Houston office, while Jill Brumberger will be based in The Woodlands.

Managing partner Bill Hines characterized the acquisition as a strategic play to accelerate growth across the Southeast. Raymond Walker, who previously co-founded his own firm, will oversee operations in Houston, The Woodlands, and Dallas. His leadership is expected to emphasize the firm's middle-market transaction work, spanning sectors from energy and healthcare to manufacturing. The group’s collective expertise covers the full transaction life cycle, including debt and equity financing, securities regulation, and corporate restructuring, further strengthening Jones Walker’s position among the largest 140 law firms in the United States.
