Chicago-based transportation firm Echo Global Logistics has named Ritu Vig as its new Chief Legal Officer. Vig arrives with over two decades of legal experience, tasked with overseeing corporate governance and strategic initiatives as the company pursues a period of accelerated growth in the supply chain sector.
CEO Doug Waggoner noted that the appointment aims to strengthen the company’s internal leadership as it continues to scale its AI-driven transportation platform. Vig, who holds a J.D. and a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, stated that her focus will center on aligning corporate governance with the company's broader growth objectives.
