Nudge Security Deploys AI Agents to Counter OAuth and Extension Risks

Austin-based Nudge Security is rolling out new autonomous agents designed to identify and neutralize threats from unauthorized OAuth grants and risky browser extensions. By automating the discovery and remediation process, the platform aims to close critical security gaps created by the rapid, unmanaged expansion of corporate SaaS and AI tools.

Nudge Security Deploys AI Agents to Counter OAuth and Extension Risks

Modern enterprises currently face a fragmented attack surface where browser extensions and third-party OAuth grants often bypass traditional security perimeters. These persistent access paths provide attackers with significant opportunities to reach sensitive data, as evidenced by recent high-profile breaches. Nudge Security’s new agents function by continuously monitoring these vectors, flagging anomalies, and providing remediation pathways that require minimal human intervention.

The suite includes a Browser Extension Risk Analyst, which surfaces malicious add-ons on employee devices, and an OAuth Grant Risk Analyst that recommends revocations based on specific organizational policies. These tools integrate with the company’s existing Vendor Risk Analyst, which builds automated security profiles for new AI and SaaS applications. According to CTO Jaime Blasco, the platform is designed to handle the sheer volume of technology decisions made by employees daily, allowing security teams to enforce governance at machine speed rather than relying on manual reviews that struggle to keep pace with modern workflows.
