CEO and Chief Creative Officer Karine Dubner celebrated the opening with a VIP reception featuring actress Cha Joo Young and violinist Danny Koo. Designed by the Seoul-based Blurker Design Studio in collaboration with Dubner, the five-story structure serves as a physical manifestation of the brand’s "Luxury to Live In" philosophy. The interior leans heavily on natural materials, incorporating Italian marble, raw oak, and hand-selected local stone, all unified by design motifs inspired by pre-Joseon era lacquerware.
Brochu Walker Opens First International Maison in Seoul
Under the glow of custom cashmere chandeliers and traditional Hanji paper, Brochu Walker has officially debuted its first international flagship in Seoul’s Gangnam district. The expansive 7,152-square-foot space signals a pivotal shift for the California-based quiet luxury label as it bridges West Coast ease with deep-rooted Korean craftsmanship.

The project emphasizes local artistic integration. Artist Ko Somi contributed a bespoke cashmere and Hanji paper light installation, while sculptor Myungjin Lee provided a ceramic column piece for the private VIP suite. This focus on regional collaboration anchors the brand’s global expansion, which already includes high-end retail footprints in Carmel, Westport, and Montecito. The Seoul location at Apgujeong-ro 42-gil 26 opens to the public on July 18, marking the latest milestone in a growth strategy that includes upcoming 2026 locations in Nashville and Austin.
