The report evaluates how deeply GenAI capabilities are integrated across platform architectures, developer tooling, and AI orchestration. While many vendors rely on partnership-led AI access or roadmap commitments, QKS Group identifies Soracom as the only provider to have shipped a complete, generally available GenAI developer stack within its cloud-native platform. This architecture allows engineering teams to convert device telemetry into deployable applications without the need for fragmented third-party integrations or specialized AI pipelines.
Soracom Named Most Valuable Pioneer in QKS Group AI Maturity Matrix
QKS Group has designated Soracom as the Most Valuable Pioneer in its 2026 AI Maturity Matrix for IoT Connectivity Management Platforms. The research highlights Soracom’s ability to move beyond basic connectivity, natively embedding generative AI directly into its infrastructure to accelerate the development of production-ready IoT applications.

Ignatius Daniel T, Principal Analyst at QKS Group, noted that the market has shifted toward platforms that treat AI as a core component rather than an external layer. By integrating services such as Soracom Flux, Flux Video Analysis, and the MCP Server directly into the IoT workflow, developers can reduce deployment timelines from months to days. Kenta Yasukawa, CTO of Soracom, stated that this native approach removes the need for enterprises to build their own AI infrastructure, allowing teams to focus on application logic and data intelligence within a unified environment.
