Most modern organizations struggle to manage a tangled web of custom code, open-source libraries, and third-party commercial software. While scanning tools have made it easier to identify security holes, the process of patching them remains slow and fragmented. Deloitte’s new solution integrates its proprietary remediation harness with Claude’s generative capabilities to transition teams from simple detection to active deployment.
Deloitte Integrates Anthropic’s Claude to Automate Software Patching
The gap between discovering a software vulnerability and actually fixing it remains a costly, manual bottleneck for most enterprises. Deloitte is now attempting to bridge that divide by launching a new platform that utilizes Anthropic’s Claude AI models to automatically prioritize risks, generate novel patches, and validate security fixes.

Adnan Amjad, Deloitte’s US Cyber leader, noted that securing a software supply chain requires a tailored approach for each layer of risk. The platform handles the full lifecycle of remediation, including fix sourcing, patch testing, and deployment. Organizations can access these capabilities through three distinct models: a fully managed service, a custom build-and-transfer setup, or as an engineering augmentation to existing internal security programs.
