Anime Adaptation of Uncle's Obsession with Cute Things Debuts in October
A polished office worker with a secret fixation on adorable mascots is coming to the small screen, as YTE Ltd. confirms the October 2026 premiere for the adaptation of the popular comedy manga Uncle's Obsession with Cute Things, complete with a first trailer showcasing the series' whimsical tone.

Voice actor Kazuyuki Okitsu leads the production as Mitsutaka Oji, with Miyu Tomita voicing the mascot Pagtaro. The supporting cast includes Fuka Izumi as Boskichi, Yurie Funato as Anne, Asami Tano as Carry, and Hinata Sato as Gurepi. Complementing the visual reveal is the insert song PAGUTTO-ICCHATTE, an upbeat track composed by YUPPA and performed by the cast, which has already debuted on major streaming platforms. Based on the manga series published by Flex Comix, the anime arrives as the original source material reaches its eleventh volume in Japan.
