The GTX300 allows users to switch between printing methods to meet shifting customer demands. While the direct-to-garment (DTG) function provides a soft touch on natural fibers like cotton, the direct-to-film (DTF) capability extends production to polyester, performance blends, and unconventional placements. Lawrence Davenport, vice president of the Industrial Products Division, stated that the machine aims to help businesses expand their service offerings without a complete overhaul of existing production setups.
Brother Launches GTX300 Hybrid Printer for Apparel Decorators
Apparel decorators can now bridge the gap between direct-to-garment and direct-to-film printing with the new Brother GTX300. Announced today in Bridgewater, N.J., the hybrid machine integrates both workflows into a single compact footprint, allowing shops to handle diverse fabric types and complex graphics without requiring additional equipment.

Technically, the unit utilizes Brother Innobella textile inks, which meet OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT and GOTS 7.0 standards. To reduce downtime, the printer includes automated maintenance, continuous white ink circulation, and a 7-inch touchscreen interface. Management of the dual-workflow process is handled through the included GTX Graphics Lab software. The system is backed by a one-year limited warranty that covers print heads, alongside guided onboarding to help operators integrate the device into shop or classroom environments.
