Brian Ganser Takes Helm of Cohen & Co Advisory Practice
With over 25 years of experience guiding middle-market firms through complex transitions, Brian Ganser has been appointed partner in charge of advisory at Cohen & Co. Effective July 13, 2026, he will steer the growth and strategy of the firm’s Office of the CFO, Transaction Services, and Valuation divisions.
Operating from the Chicago office, Ganser will oversee a practice that recently formalized its Office of the CFO service, designed to support finance leaders with reporting, transformation, and accounting. His appointment arrives as the firm seeks to capitalize on its recent M&A activity to provide comprehensive advisory support to private equity investors and management teams. Ganser, an Indiana University Kelly School of Business MBA graduate, also serves on the Leadership Council of Special Olympics.
