Meghan Donelon Named Board Chair for United Way of Southeast Louisiana
Meghan Donelon, a veteran Commercial Banking Group Manager at First Horizon Bank, has been tapped to lead the board of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana. As the new Executive Committee Board Chair, she will oversee the organization's strategic governance and its mission to combat poverty across seven regional parishes.
In her new capacity, Donelon will function as the organization’s Chief Volunteer Officer, guiding the board’s strategic direction and fostering collaboration across standing committees. Michael Williamson, President and CEO of United Way of Southeast Louisiana, emphasized that her collaborative approach is essential for the organization’s goal of assisting 100,000 ALICE individuals and families on a path to prosperity by 2035. Donelon succeeds previous leadership in steering the nonprofit's ongoing efforts to improve health, education, and financial stability throughout the seven-parish region.
