Investors File Securities Fraud Lawsuit Against GPGI, Inc.

Investors who purchased Class A common stock of GPGI, Inc. between November 3, 2025, and May 6, 2026, face a critical deadline in an ongoing securities class action. Those wishing to serve as lead plaintiff in the litigation against the company, formerly known as CompoSecure, must file with the court by September 14, 2026.

The lawsuit, initiated by the Rosen Law Firm, alleges that GPGI misled shareholders regarding the financial health and strategic value of its Husky acquisition. According to the complaint, the company allegedly overstated the value of Husky while failing to disclose that the business was failing to meet revenue and Adjusted EBITDA targets established in the proxy statement. The filing further suggests that the acquisition was structured primarily to generate fees for Resolute Holdings and individual defendants rather than to provide long-term value for shareholders.

Investors who held the stock during the specified period are not currently represented by counsel unless they choose to retain one. While individuals may remain absent class members, those interested in assuming a leadership role in the litigation must act before the mid-September cutoff. The firm notes that participation in a potential future recovery does not require serving as a lead plaintiff, and investors retain the right to select their own legal representation.
