Latham & Watkins has recruited Jennifer Ying Lan as a partner in its New York office, further expanding the firm’s capital markets and public company representation capabilities. Formerly of Davis Polk & Wardell, Lan brings extensive experience in investment-grade debt, equity offerings, and complex corporate financing transactions.

Marc Jaffe, managing partner of the firm's New York office, highlighted Lan's technical expertise and judgment as key assets for the firm’s ongoing growth. Global co-chairs Stelios Saffos and Ian Schuman noted that her arrival aligns with the firm’s strategy to deliver comprehensive counsel across debt, hybrid capital, and liability management. Lan stated that she was drawn to the firm’s collaborative approach and its ability to guide clients through complex, market-shaping transactions.
