The integration brings 27 attorneys and 23 patent agents into the Lathrop GPM fold, pushing the firm’s total attorney headcount to approximately 370. With combined revenues projected at $300 million, the deal positions Lathrop GPM as a dominant force among Am Law 200 firms for intellectual property services ranging from trademark litigation to complex technology transactions.
Managing Partner Cameron Garrison characterized the acquisition as a transformative step for the firm’s engineering-driven practices. HG Law’s team brings technical expertise in software, electrical, and mechanical engineering, which will now support clients in sectors such as fintech, telecommunications, and semiconductor manufacturing. Gregory Lundell, a managing committee member at HG Law, noted that the move provides his team with the broader platform necessary to handle high-value intellectual property matters.
