Icarus Recovery Center Expands Leadership with New Medical and Clinical Directors

Dr. Bonner assumes the role of Medical Director, overseeing psychiatric consultation and medical strategy, while Dennis steps in as Clinical Director to manage clinical programming and interdisciplinary team coordination. The move comes as the center seeks to refine its treatment protocols and improve patient transitions across its full continuum of care, which includes medically supervised detox, inpatient rehab, and outpatient services.

Dr. Bonner, a board-certified specialist in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and obesity medicine, brings experience from both inpatient and outpatient environments, including fellowship training at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dennis, a board-certified psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner, transitions into this leadership role after a career spanning intensive care nursing and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings. Together, they are tasked with strengthening quality standards and ensuring that individualized treatment plans remain anchored in evidence-based practices.
