Mason Dixie Foods Targets Frozen Aisle with Clean-Label Chicken Biscuit

Seeking to replicate fast-food cravings without the artificial additives, Mason Dixie Foods is rolling out a new frozen Chicken Biscuit Sandwich. The product debuts this month at select Costco locations, offering a preservative-free alternative to drive-thru staples that packs 11 grams of protein into a single serving.

The new sandwich pairs the company's signature all-butter buttermilk biscuit with breaded chicken breast seasoned in a proprietary restaurant-style spice blend. Designed for preparation in under three minutes, the product arrives as the latest expansion of the brand’s freezer-aisle portfolio, which emphasizes recognizable ingredients over the chemical-heavy profiles typical of mass-market convenience foods.

Founder and CEO Ayeshah Abuelhiga developed the line from the recipes of her family’s carry-out restaurant, aiming to eliminate the compromise between convenience and ingredient quality. The eight-count packs are currently priced at an SRP of $15.99 and are available exclusively at Costco stores across the Northeast, the Bay Area, and San Diego.
