Kim Stolz, a former Bank of America Private Bank executive and recognized financial strategist, has joined IEQ Capital as Senior Managing Director in New York City. She will oversee wealth management and financial planning for ultra-high-net-worth families, leveraging a background that spans institutional equity derivatives and private wealth.
Her career path remains unconventional for the sector. Before entering finance, Stolz served as a journalist and host at MTV Networks. She later transitioned to equity derivatives sales at BTIG and Citigroup, eventually moving into private wealth management. A 2019 Business Insider Rising Star of Wall Street, she currently sits on the board of The LGBT Center in New York City. At IEQ, which manages approximately $46.6 billion in regulatory assets, Stolz will focus on expanding the firm’s reach and providing tailored strategic guidance to business owners and executives.
