Chris Louk, stepping in as Chief Financial Officer, moves to Caristo from Piper Sandler, where he served as Vice President of Healthcare Investment Banking. Louk was instrumental in major medtech transactions, including the 1.5 billion dollar sale of OrganOx to Terumo Corporation.

As Caristo Diagnostics targets a wider global footprint for its cardiovascular AI tools, the firm has tapped industry veterans David Vort and Chris Louk to lead its commercial and financial strategy. The appointments, effective immediately, arrive as the Oxford-born company pushes to integrate its diagnostic technologies into international clinical workflows.

These leadership changes support the company's momentum following the 2025 FDA clearance of its CaRi-Plaque technology. While the firm expands its U.S. presence, its CaRi-Heart platform, which utilizes the patented Fat Attenuation Index Score to measure coronary inflammation, continues to see commercial deployment across the UK, Europe, Switzerland, and Australia. Caristo, a 2026 World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer, aims to shift cardiovascular care toward early detection and prevention.
