AviatorPro provides students with 3D aircraft models, AI-driven study assistance, and adaptive quizzes that align with FAA knowledge standards. By allowing students to review complex systems and flight procedures on mobile devices before their sessions, the university intends to increase knowledge retention and overall preparedness for its fleet of over 200 aircraft.
UND Aerospace Integrates AviatorPro into Flight Training Curriculum
The John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University of North Dakota is overhauling its flight training approach by integrating AviatorPro as a supplemental digital platform. Starting in the 2026–2027 academic year, the software will support more than 2,000 students across the university’s Grand Forks and Phoenix-Mesa campuses.
This partnership also strengthens the existing bond with Piper Aircraft. As the exclusive online ground school provider for the Piper Flight School Alliance, AviatorPro offers content specifically tailored to the Piper Archer and Seminole models, which form the backbone of the UND training fleet. Jeremy Roesler, Director of Flight Operations at UND, noted that the platform provides faculty and training managers with improved visibility into student progress, ensuring that instruction remains both efficient and data-driven.
