Managing complex job schedules across SQL Server, Azure, and SAP often forces IT teams to juggle multiple consoles during emergency outages. JAMS Software is addressing this bottleneck by launching JAX, an AI agent, and a new connector built on the Model Context Protocol, allowing teams to troubleshoot failures using natural language.
Chief Executive Officer Pete Hegland noted that the primary goal is to accelerate root-cause analysis without requiring companies to expose sensitive scripts to third-party systems. Because the tools function as an extension of the authenticated user, they cannot execute unauthorized changes or exceed existing system access. JAX and JAMS MCP are available immediately to all JAMS Web customers at no additional cost, with future updates planned to support plain-language workflow creation.
