Truist Securities Taps Craig Mineard for TMT Investment Banking Lead
Craig Mineard has joined Truist Securities as Managing Director and Co-Head of Technology, Media, and Telecom investment banking. He will partner with Thomas Wilson to oversee the firm’s industry coverage team, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous tenure at Jefferies to the Atlanta-based financial institution.
His appointment reunites him with Thomas Wilson, who joined Truist in May and spent the previous eight years working alongside Mineard at Jefferies. Tom Hackett, Chairman and CEO of Truist Securities, noted that the duo's combined track record in complex M&A and capital markets is intended to bolster the firm’s competitive standing. The TMT group currently manages a broad portfolio spanning application software, fintech, and digital media as part of the broader Truist Wholesale Banking segment.
