The selection process for the 2027 rankings involved a rigorous analysis of data from 194 business schools. Editors evaluated over 60 distinct criteria, ranging from academic quality and faculty expertise to career services and student satisfaction, based on surveys conducted during the 2025–2026 academic year. More than 13,360 students provided feedback on their experiences with technology, curriculum, and professional development outcomes.
Dr. Michael Weber, dean of the Barney Barnett School, attributed the recognition to an intentional curriculum design that bridges theoretical instruction with practical application. By utilizing real-world consulting projects and integrating emerging technologies, the program aims to equip graduates with the leadership and technical skills necessary for volatile business environments. The institution also holds accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, a distinction shared by fewer than six percent of business schools globally.
