Adidas to Outfit 100 Nations for Inaugural Esports Nations Cup

Over 100 countries will trade club allegiances for national colors this November, as the Esports Foundation and Adidas announce a partnership to supply custom gear for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup. The four-week tournament in Riyadh marks the first time a global esports event will mirror the nation-based structure of traditional sports.

Starting November 2, 2026, the event will see 2,000 athletes and coaches donning apparel designed to reflect national identity across 16 different competitive titles. Adidas will serve as the Official Kit Partner, producing tailored jerseys and tracksuits for every participating delegation. The Esports Foundation views this collaboration as a bridge between gaming and professional sports culture, aiming to instill the same sense of prestige found in events like the World Cup.

Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation, noted that the jerseys serve as symbols of national pride and ambition. Behind the scenes, the foundation has spent months establishing a global infrastructure, appointing over 700 national team coaches to manage player selection. The tournament structure is supported by a $45 million funding commitment, which includes a $20 million prize pool distributed with equal pay across all titles, alongside a dedicated development fund for national team operations.
