AbbVie Posts Strong Q2 Results and Targets Apogee Therapeutics Acquisition
AbbVie reported a robust second quarter for 2026, with worldwide net revenues climbing 10.2 percent to $16.99 billion. Driven by gains in its immunology and neuroscience portfolios, the company also announced a definitive $10.9 billion agreement to acquire Apogee Therapeutics, signaling a strategic move to solidify its long-term growth trajectory.

Looking ahead, AbbVie has adjusted its 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to a range of $13.87 to $14.07. This revision accounts for the anticipated $0.14 per share dilutive impact of the Apogee Therapeutics acquisition, expected to close in the third quarter. CEO Robert A. Michael characterized the period as one of "outstanding execution," noting that the addition of Apogee’s clinical-stage pipeline in inflammatory and immunological diseases will be instrumental in maintaining the company’s competitive edge in the coming years.
