Non-Executive Chairman Alexis P. Michas cited Kalathur’s broad leadership experience across operations and sales as a key asset for the company. Kalathur retired from Deere & Company earlier in 2026 after a thirty-year tenure. During his final years at the machinery giant, he managed a financial services portfolio exceeding $70 billion in assets while overseeing enterprise-wide cybersecurity and IT infrastructure.

Before his role as President of John Deere Financial, Kalathur spent six years as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Jamshedpur, India, alongside advanced degrees from the University of Alabama and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
