A patient in Japan has received the first dose of GNX1021, marking the clinical debut of GlycoNex Inc.’s novel antibody-drug conjugate. This Phase I trial represents a shift for the Taipei-based firm, moving its lead oncology candidate from laboratory development into human testing to evaluate safety and early anti-tumor efficacy.
The ongoing multinational study, conducted across sites in Japan and Taiwan, will assess the drug’s pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity in patients with advanced solid tumors.
