Guidewire Software has debuted its Qusar release, introducing an Agentic Framework designed to let insurers build, deploy, and manage AI agents directly within the Guidewire Cloud Platform. The new suite aims to replace manual, multi-day administrative tasks with automated, data-driven decisions that execute in minutes.
Beyond business operations, the release targets technical productivity through new Developer and Builder Assistants. These tools are trained specifically on the Guidewire codebase, including Gosu and Jutro, and are reported to help development teams ship features more than 40% faster than generic coding assistants. According to Diego Devalle, Guidewire’s Chief Product Development Officer, this approach provides the necessary context for developers to engineer insurance-aware agents that function reliably in daily operations.
