The collaboration focuses on defining a highway operational design domain, utilizing proprietary software to process environmental data. The system is designed to handle critical Physical AI functions, such as distinguishing drivable surfaces from hazardous road debris like lost cargo or tires. Beyond terrain mapping, the stack will identify and classify various road users, including pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles, to enhance safety in high-speed traffic scenarios.

CEO Omer Keilaf noted that the co-design of hardware and software is essential for meeting production-grade autonomy standards. By leveraging the InnovizTwo LiDAR platform, the company intends to provide a precise 3D understanding of the surrounding environment, regardless of complex road conditions. This partnership marks a shift in how the supplier integrates its sensing technology directly into the compute architecture of major automotive manufacturers.
