Adecco Group Reports 21 Percent EBITA Growth in Second Quarter

The Adecco Group posted a 5.6 percent organic revenue increase in the second quarter of 2026, marking five consecutive quarters of growth. This performance, driven by gains in market share and improved operational efficiency, pushed the company’s EBITA to 165 million euros, a 21 percent rise compared to the same period last year.

The company’s primary division, Adecco, led the charge with a 6.6 percent year-on-year increase, bolstered by strong results in the Americas and APAC regions. Akkodis returned to growth at 1 percent, while LHH stabilized as its Professional Recruitment Solutions sector saw a modest recovery. These results reflect a broader trend of productivity gains, with internal metrics showing a 6 percent increase in efficiency.

CEO Denis Machuel credited the performance to disciplined strategy and a heightened focus on technology. The group reached its initial target of having 50 percent of revenues generated through agent-enabled platforms and has since raised that goal to 70 percent by the end of the year. Financial health remains a priority, as evidenced by an 83 percent cash conversion rate and a net debt-to-EBITDA ratio that sits 0.5x lower than the previous year.
