Octane Hits $5 Billion ABS Milestone With $337 Million Marine Issuance
Fintech firm Octane has closed a $337 million securitization backed by recreational vehicle and marine loans, marking its largest transaction in the sector to date. The deal pushes the company’s total asset-backed securities issuance beyond the $5 billion threshold, signaling robust investor appetite for its specialized lending portfolio.

Nicholas Makarov, SVP and Head of Capital Markets at Octane, noted that the strong execution reflects the maturation of the company's lending platform. The firm reported a significant surge in demand, attracting both long-term partners and new institutional participants. This financial momentum coincides with rapid operational growth; in the first half of 2026, Octane saw RV and marine originations climb by 146% and 125% year over year, respectively. With total lifetime originations now exceeding $9 billion, the company continues to diversify its funding strategy through a mix of forward-flow transactions and whole loan sales.
