Dallas College Secures Texas-First NIKE Athletics Partnership
Dallas College has signed a multi-year deal with BSN SPORTS, becoming the first community college in Texas to operate as a fully NIKE-branded athletics program. This shift aims to overhaul the institution's visual identity while providing standardized, high-performance gear for student-athletes across all seven of its North Texas campuses.
BSN SPORTS, a division of Varsity Brands, will manage the transition for the college’s various sports teams. Todd Northrop, senior vice president of the firm’s collegiate division, noted that the partnership intends to mirror the championship-winning culture already established by the college’s coaches and athletes. The institution has maintained a strong track record of success, producing 17 championship teams and over 80 All-Americans within the last five years. By equipping its diverse student body with professional-grade gear, the college hopes to further solidify its reputation as a pipeline for talent moving toward four-year universities.
