Educators across Southern California have until September 12 to secure funding for classroom innovation. The California Credit Union Foundation is offering 10 grants of $500 each to support creative projects that address specific academic needs, aiming to transform abstract concepts into tangible, hands-on experiences for students throughout the region.
Since its inception in 2012, the foundation has distributed $235,000 to local schools. Previous disbursements have successfully funded diverse initiatives ranging from aerial drone workshops and American Sign Language courses to STEM-focused water rocket experiments. Interested applicants must detail clear learning objectives and demonstrate how their proposed project will foster meaningful student engagement.
