Setting sail from DeLand, Florida, Captain Scott "Red" Flowers has launched the 2026 Great Loop Challenge. After completing a record-breaking 6,000-mile voyage in 2024, the captain is now pushing through a 7,300-nautical-mile route to secure the remaining funds needed to reach a $1 million target for pediatric cancer research.
