GreenCore Solutions Taps Former Walmart Executive Julia Turley for Board

Julia Turley, who managed a US$2 billion portfolio as a merchandising director at Walmart, has joined the board of GreenCore Solutions Corp. Her appointment marks a strategic move by the AI provider to align its automated procurement agents with the high-stakes, deterministic decision-making processes used by the world’s largest grocery retailers.

Turley brings two decades of experience from the world’s largest retailer to the Vancouver-based company. During her tenure at Walmart U.S., which reported US$713 billion in fiscal 2026 global revenue, she oversaw category strategy and supplier partnerships within the beauty and personal care sector. Her new role involves guiding GreenCore as it scales its AI agent platform, which currently processes over 11.5 million transactions monthly.

GreenCore specializes in building AI agents that integrate consumer packaged goods into retail procurement systems. By incorporating Turley’s expertise, the company aims to bridge the gap between algorithmic efficiency and the nuanced judgment required to secure shelf space. According to CEO Matthew Keddy, the goal is to ensure that the company's AI stack reflects the realities of retail procurement, moving away from speculative computing toward predictable, procurement-ready outcomes.
