The Kazakhstan site presents similar geological volatility, where engineers relied on site-specific verification to ensure the tracking hardware remains stable despite shifting ground conditions.
Arctech Secures 425 MW Solar Expansion Across Central Asia
Arctech is expanding its footprint in Central Asia with 425 MW of new solar tracker projects, split between a 325 MW installation in Kyrgyzstan and a 100 MW site in Kazakhstan. The expansion tests the company’s ability to deploy specialized mounting technology across notoriously difficult, frost-heave-prone terrain.

These latest awards bring Arctech’s total regional deployment to over 3.5 GW, with 700 MW now located in Kyrgyzstan and 900 MW in Kazakhstan. By tailoring its engineering approach to local soil profiles rather than using standardized templates, the firm has cemented its role in the region's renewable energy transition. As Central Asian nations push toward larger utility-scale solar targets, the company’s ability to navigate complex soil mechanics remains its primary competitive advantage.
