The platform’s expansion strategy focused heavily on the TradFi sector, where it added 56 new assets in July alone. By targeting high-demand areas such as AI chips, memory semiconductors, and commodities, HTX now supports 170 traditional finance assets. To accommodate this influx, the exchange implemented technical upgrades, including a dedicated navigation tab and refined funding rate calculations, to ensure stock contract pricing remains tethered to real-world market performance.
HTX Reports Record TradFi Trading Volume Amid July Expansion
The HTX exchange reached a historic milestone in July 2026, as daily trading volume within its TradFi zone surged tenfold over June averages. This growth, culminating in a cumulative $2.5 billion in volume, highlights a strategic pivot toward integrating traditional stock contracts and automated trading tools into the platform's core ecosystem.

Automated trading tools also defied broader market cooling, with copy trading volume climbing 184% compared to the previous month. The introduction of a Trailing Grid feature and improvements to the Futures Grid order-placement mechanism allowed users to capture volatility more effectively. Simultaneously, capital efficiency initiatives gained traction, as HTX Earn subscriptions surpassed $290 million. The platform continues to bridge the gap between traditional finance and digital assets, with preparations underway for global regulatory compliance regarding tokenized stocks and other real-world assets.
